Introducing the team
We are a small, tight-knit team of nine enthusiasts, on the young side and full of energy. Let us introduce them one by one:
Benoit Richard
Benoit Richard
CEO
Founder of Harmonia, the company behind All Cool, Benoit is the driving force of the whole team and the only one with a firm opinion on absolutely everything, from product selection to the colour of the newsletter sign-up button.
Tester (fans & portability)
Before devoting himself entirely to All Cool, Benoit seriously considered taking over an artisan ice cream factory at one point. He still talks about it with stars in his eyes whenever the subject comes up in a meeting.
Christophe Delpuech

Sales Manager
Christophe runs purchasing and our relationships with commercial partners. On the team since the site launched, he is something of its living memory: he can always recall, years later, why a particular brand was dropped from the catalogue.
Tester (air conditioning)
The story goes that a delivery error once landed him a whole pallet of forty identical cool boxes instead of just one. Rather than sending them all back, he gave one to every team member for the summer.
Julien de Jurquet

Sales
A trained engineer, Julien brings real technical insight to our tests, particularly anything involving cooling systems and heat exchange.
Tester (misting)
Before joining the team, Julien helped size the cooling system of a large public tropical greenhouse. He still brings up that project whenever humidity management comes up.
Gilles Caron
Gilles Caron
Communications & Partnerships
Gilles handles communications and liaises with our commercial partners. He is also the first to volunteer whenever gear needs testing out on the road.
Tester (coolers & portable cooling)
A keen camper-van owner, Gilles has crossed Northern Europe several times to put electric cool boxes through their paces, in both chilly nights and scorching days, sometimes on the same trip.
Pierre Freysinger

IT & UX
Pierre looks after everything to do with the site's IT and user experience. His speciality: making simple what is never really simple to begin with.
Tester (refrigeration)
Pierre built his own water-cooling loop to keep the personal servers in his garage cool, which makes him by far the most knowledgeable team member when it comes to heat dissipation.
Yoni Marchal-Laporte
Yoni Marchal-Laporte
Traffic manager & writer
The latest addition to the team, Yoni handles traffic acquisition and writes a good share of the site's product pages.
Tester (insulated gear)
Modesty aside, he is the one who wrote every colleague's profile on this page. He swears he did not exaggerate a thing, though nobody quite believes him.
Guillaume Hoarau

Content manager
Guillaume runs the site's editorial content, working closely with Yoni. He is also the team's adventurer, always first to volunteer for real-world gear testing.
Writer & tester (accessories)
His nickname, borrowed from a lager well known to outdoor enthusiasts, has stuck ever since a canoe bivouac on the Dordogne, where he tested half a dozen USB camping fans between rain showers.
Dawid Lojewski

Customer service & order management
Dawid handles after-sales service and order administration. He is the person to turn to if anything goes wrong with an order.
Tester (occasional)
Nobody has ever managed to get him to admit his favourite chocolate, despite years of the whole team repeatedly trying.
Hanne Lindberg
Hanne Lindberg
HR & accounts
The most senior member of the team, Hanne looks after HR and accounting. She is also the only one who kept her cool the day the whole site went down.
Originally from Sweden and settled in France for many years, she speaks flawless French, save for one detail: she still occasionally mixes up two similar words, which has caused more than one memorable fit of laughter in meetings.
