Tested in a loft bedroom, the hardest room in the house to cool in summer. The feature that interested me most, no manual draining, held up over three weeks of near-continuous use, even in high humidity: I never once had to empty a tank. Sleep mode, which lowers fan speed and lets the temperature drift up by 2°C over 4 hours, let me sleep without being woken by noise or by the room getting too cold, at 45 dB(A) measured on the quietest setting. The universal window kit fitted a tilt-and-turn window without any fuss, which isn't always the case with standard kits on the market. The one serious drawback: I couldn't find a second unit at any major retailer while writing this review, the stock shortage is very real. And on one occasion the WiFi connection dropped overnight, needing a manual restart the next morning.
