The cooler held its temperature without flinching, keeping drinks properly cold despite the lid being opened repeatedly by the whole group. The LED screen stays readable in bright sunlight, and the Bluetooth control let me adjust the setting from the picnic table without getting up each time. The 45-litre size was enough for four people over three days, without needing to restock on ice. The drawbacks are the ones I expected at this price point: the lid seal finish sits a notch below premium brands, with a slight draught noticeable to the touch, and the Bluetooth app took a few seconds too long to reconnect after dropping out. For occasional use with friends on a controlled budget, the 45L remains a safe bet.
