Temperature regulation turned out to be genuinely precise: the advertised ±1.2°C is what I actually measured with an external thermometer left inside for 48 hours. The independent dual zone made a real difference: a -18°C freezer compartment on one side for the day's catch, a +4°C fridge compartment on the other for drinks, with neither setting affecting the other. On a full SOLIX battery, I comfortably made it through the whole weekend without recharging. Two things gave me pause: once fitted with its battery, the cooler gets genuinely heavy to carry alone on a trail, better to bring a trolley or a second pair of hands. And the price stays high, hard to justify unless you're also planning to invest in a second battery or the brand's wider SOLIX ecosystem to get the full benefit.
