The 5-litre tank fills up quickly under heavy use, so it is worth connecting the included drain hose from day one if the room has a nearby outlet, which removes the need to keep emptying the bucket entirely. The automatic air oscillation helps spread the effect across the whole room rather than just drying the air right around the unit. The laundry-drying mode proved genuinely useful on a rainy weekend, though it is no substitute for a proper tumble dryer.
