Unlike a heater, an air conditioner does not draw its rated power continuously: a thermostat switches the compressor off once the target temperature is reached, then switches it back on as it drifts. It's this real running rate, not the power printed on the spec sheet, that determines the day's consumption.
This tool applies a physical model (power draw, daily hours of use, heat intensity for your region) to give a realistic consumption range, converted into an electricity cost per day, per month and over the full season based on the price per kWh you enter.
The result is always given as a range, never as a single figure, and comes with a direct comparison against a fan to measure the cost gap between the two solutions.
