Winner of the German Stiftung Warentest fan test in 2020: an ultra-quiet DC air circulator from 20 dB, with remote control and 12 speeds.
- Noise level : From 20dB(A) on the lowest speed
- Speeds : 12 speeds, ECO mode and Night mode
- Oscillation : Multi-directional, remote controlled
- Winner of the 2020 Stiftung Warentest fan test, the quiet benchmark
The MeacoFan 1056 is a premium table fan built around a DC motor, renowned for exceptionally quiet operation, from 20dB(A) on its lowest speed. It offers 12 speeds, an ECO mode that automatically adjusts airflow based on room temperature, a Night mode with dimmed display, and multi-directional oscillation controllable via remote. Winner of the Stiftung Warentest comparison in June 2020, it targets users willing to pay more for maximum acoustic comfort, in the bedroom as much as the office.
Straight out of the box, the MeacoFan 1056 signals a different standing from more affordable table fans: careful finish, a remote that clips magnetically onto the top of the unit, a display that dims automatically in the evening. But it's on quietness that the MeacoFan scores the most points. On the first few speeds, you genuinely have to get close to be sure it's running, a real asset for a bedroom or a shared office where background noise needs to stay minimal. The 12 speeds allow far finer adjustment than a simple 3 or 4-notch dial, and the ECO mode, which automatically adjusts ventilation based on room temperature, proved genuinely useful for keeping a room cool without manual intervention. Multi-directional oscillation covers the whole room effectively, controllable straight from bed thanks to the remote. The only real downside noted after several weeks of use: a slight clunk when the horizontal oscillation changes direction, more audible than the running noise itself, and beeping confirmation tones on the buttons that we'd have liked to be able to turn off. The price, noticeably higher than a classic table fan, is justified by build quality and a genuinely above-average quiet operation, confirmed by its win at the Stiftung Warentest comparison in 2020.
Meaco MeacoFan 1056P

A pedestal fan awarded for its quiet running, with dual horizontal and vertical oscillation that sweeps the whole room.
- Noise level : From 29 dB
- Speeds : 12 speeds, 4 modes
- Oscillation : Simultaneous 80° horizontal and 60° vertical
- Quiet Mark awarded for quiet running, magnetic remote
The Meaco MeacoFan 1056P leans on claimed quiet running from 29 dB, paired with 12 speeds and 4 modes (Normal, Nature, ECO, Sleep). Its dual oscillation, 80° horizontal and 60° vertical, covers the whole room by bouncing air off walls and ceiling. The magnetic remote stores directly on the unit, with a timer adjustable from 1 to 12 hours.
Installed in a bedroom where any background noise quickly became annoying at night, this MeacoFan immediately lived up to its reputation for quiet running: on the low speeds you really have to listen closely to notice the motor. The dual horizontal and vertical oscillation genuinely changes the experience compared with a classic fan, the air bounces off walls and ceiling to cover the whole room rather than just a strip in front of the unit. The magnetic remote, which stores directly on the fan's body, avoids losing it, a practical detail too often overlooked on other models. Sleep mode gradually reduces speed through the night, a real plus for not waking up to an overly cool draught at dawn. The price sits well above the average pedestal fan, but is justified by build quality and quiet running genuinely superior to the competition. For a bedroom or office where silence matters most, this Meaco remains a benchmark.
