Daikin Sensira FTXF25A

Check price and availability (10)

The Daikin Sensira FTXF25A, an accessible benchmark in Japanese fixed air conditioning, reversible and remarkably quiet from 20 dB(A) indoors.

  • Power : 2.5 kW cooling / 2.8 kW heating (9000 BTU/h)
  • Type : Fixed split reversible, Inverter technology
  • Noise level : From 20 to 21 dB(A) indoors (quiet mode)
  • One of the quietest fixed ACs in our selection, from 20 dB(A)
The Daikin Sensira FTXF25A/RXF25A is a reversible fixed split air conditioner rated at 9000 BTU (2.5 kW nominal cooling, Class A++, SEER 6.50, and 2.8 kW heating, Class A+, SCOP 4.20). Recommended for a room of around 25 sqm, it drops to 20-21 dB(A) in quiet mode, one of the lowest noise levels in our selection. The circuit runs on R-32 refrigerant, with no WiFi built in as standard (module available as an option). Installation must be carried out by a certified professional.
Fitted recently for a customer who wanted Daikin's well-known reliability for her bedroom, without paying extra for the latest connected features. Since the WiFi module isn't supplied as standard on this Sensira generation, the order was placed straight away with the accessory added on, a detail worth checking closely before buying if remote control from a smartphone matters to you. Once installed, in a 22 sqm room, the temperature dropped from 28 to 21°C in about half an hour, with a measured noise level around 21 to 24 dB(A) in quiet mode, among the lowest I've come across on this power segment. Heating mode proved effective even on a cool evening, consistent with the stated SCOP of 4.20. My only reservation concerns the availability of this exact model: the Sensira range has since moved on to newer generations with built-in WiFi, and this FTXF25A is gradually getting harder to find new from retailers. For anyone who still finds it in stock at a good price, it remains a solid and particularly discreet fixed air conditioner.

Daikin ATXC35E

Check price and availability (4)

The reversible Daikin split air conditioner, cooling and heating, with built-in WiFi, for anyone after the brand's reliability without the premium-range price.

  • Power : 3.5 kW cooling / 4.0 kW heating (12,000 BTU/h)
  • Type : Reversible split, built-in WiFi
  • Noise level : From 22 dB(A) indoors (quiet mode)
  • Reversible cooling and heating, built-in WiFi, electrostatic filter
The Daikin ATXC35E/ARXC35E is a reversible fixed split air conditioner rated at 12,000 BTU, cooling at 3.5 kW (Class A++) as well as heating at 4.0 kW (Class A+), with built-in WiFi for remote control without an add-on module. It features an electrostatic filter that removes airborne dust particles, a standby mode cutting consumption by about 80%, and automatic vertical swing for even air distribution. With a SEER of 6.8, a SCOP of 4.3 and R-32 gas, it aims for a solid balance between energy efficiency and an accessible budget within the Daikin range.
Fitted at a client's home who wanted Daikin's reliability without paying for the Perfera range. Once the outdoor unit was mounted and the line run, setup happened straight from the app, no separate WiFi card to add like on older Daikin models, a genuine time-saver for me on site. In the client's 22 m² living room, the temperature dropped from 30 to 22°C in about twenty minutes, and the noise level I measured on my phone sat around 44 to 46 dB(A), matching the manufacturer's figures. The electrostatic filter was already visibly catching more dust than the old unit it replaced, a clear difference by the first clean a month later. My only gripe with this model: fan-only mode, handy in shoulder seasons, doesn't offer as fine a speed adjustment as cooling mode does. For a client after solid Japanese engineering without the premium price tag, this is a model I recommend without hesitation.

Daikin Sensira FTXC50D

799.90€ (3)

Daikin's reversible split air conditioner from the Sensira range, with its 7-metre installation kit included, to cool and heat a large room without breaking the bank.

  • Power : 5.1 kW cooling / 5.6 kW heating (18,000 BTU/h)
  • Type : Reversible split, 7 m installation kit included
  • Noise level : From 30 dB(A) indoors (quiet mode)
  • 7 m installation kit included, ready for professional fitting
The Daikin FTXC50D/RXC50D is a reversible fixed split air conditioner rated at 18,000 BTU (5.1 kW cooling, Class A++, SEER 6.45, and 5.6 kW heating, Class A+, SCOP 4.42), sold with a ready-to-fit 7-metre refrigerant line kit. Recommended for rooms up to 150 m³ (roughly 40 to 50 m²), it runs on R-32 gas and drops to 30 dB(A) in quiet mode. WiFi remains optional (module sold separately). Installation must be carried out by a certified professional qualified to handle refrigerant gas.
Fitted recently for a homeowner who wanted to cool a large 45 m² living room without breaking the bank. The 7-metre kit supplied made site prep noticeably easier: copper pipes, cable and bracket were already in the box, only the exact drilling length needed adjusting on site. Once both units were connected and the line was vacuum-pumped, cooling kicked in fast, the room went from 29 to 22°C in about half an hour, with a measured noise level around 44 to 47 dB(A) on high fan speed, matching the manufacturer's figures. One thing to watch on this model: the wall bracket supplied for the outdoor unit felt a bit light for a 39 kg condenser, so a reinforced bracket is worth planning if the wall isn't perfectly flat. Another minor gripe, no WiFi as standard means ordering the module separately if remote control matters to the customer. Over time though, the compressor behaves exactly as you'd expect from Daikin, quiet and steady. Solid value for power and reliability on a large room, as long as you budget for those two small extras.

Daikin Sensira FTXC60D

1075.00£ (2)

The professional-grade reversible Daikin split air conditioner, 21000 BTU, complete with its 7 m installation kit, built to cool and heat a large room.

  • Power : 6.1 kW cooling / 6.4 kW heating (21,000 BTU/h)
  • Type : Professional reversible split, 7 m installation kit included
  • Noise level : From 30 dB(A) indoors
  • Complete 7 m installation kit included (pipes, cable, brackets)
The Daikin FTXC60D/RXC60D is a reversible fixed split air conditioner rated at 21,000 BTU (6.1 kW), from the professional Sensira Bluevolution range sold with a complete 7-metre installation kit (copper pipes, electrical cable, condensate drain hose, wall brackets). Rated Class A++ cooling and A+ heating, it runs on R-32 gas and drops to 30 dB(A) indoors. WiFi is available as an optional add-on via a dedicated Daikin interface, not included as standard.
Fitted at a client's home to serve a large living room over 50 sq m, where the priority was strong output without paying for Daikin's most premium ranges. The complete kit supplied with the unit, copper pipes, electrical cable and wall brackets all included, saved me real time on site: no separate order to plan ahead with a wholesaler before starting. Once both units were connected and the line run, the living room cooled convincingly, reaching a comfortable temperature drop within about twenty minutes. The noise level I measured on my phone in quiet mode stayed discreet, under 35 dB(A), a genuine plus next to a bedroom. On the heating side, the heat pump takes over efficiently in the shoulder seasons, a real advantage over a cooling-only unit. My only gripe: WiFi isn't built in on this Sensira range, you need to add the optional interface if remote control matters to you. For a client after reliable Daikin power at a contained price, installation kit included, this is a model I'm happy to recommend.
