In detail: Lepwings Foldable Mini Fan
The Lepwings Mini Portable Fan clearly targets the affordable end of the market without skimping on the essentials: decent airflow, good battery life and a format that travels well. Its 180° folding housing lets you angle the fan head upward or forward, whether resting on a desk or held in hand, adapting to different situations without extra accessories.
Four fan speeds let you adjust airflow intensity to the ambient heat, running at around 30 dB even on the fastest setting, a real benefit for a shared office or near a sleeping child. The brushless motor helps keep it quiet while limiting wear over time.
On battery life, the USB rechargeable battery runs from 5.5 to 16 hours depending on the speed chosen, with a full charge taking about 2.5 hours. At just 106 g and with compact folded dimensions, the unit slips easily into a handbag, a travel pouch or a backpack pocket without adding noticeable bulk.
Available in several colours, this mini fan suits home use just as well as a desk without air conditioning, a student room or a train journey. Its simplicity, with a single button to change speed, makes it accessible to all ages.
Its main limitation is naturally its budget price point: airflow stays decent without being impressive, and it offers no extra function (power bank, light) or mounting options like a clip. But for anyone after a simple, light, inexpensive mini fan, the Lepwings does exactly what's expected of it.

In short, the Lepwings wins on battery life and quiet operation, at a lower price. The AngLink keeps the advantage of its clip mount, ideal for attaching to a stroller or table, while the Lepwings favours the simplicity of a stand-alone or handheld format. The choice mainly comes down to the mounting style you need.

Our tester's verdict: Benoit Richard
The Lepwings does the job without overdoing it, which is exactly what you want at this price. We tested the 4 speeds across several days at the desk: the first barely stirs the air, while the third and fourth are genuinely effective at under a metre from your face. Noise stays discreet, you can barely hear it on the low setting, a real plus in an open-plan office. The claimed 16h battery life on low speed felt accurate in real use, easily enough for a full day without recharging. The weak point: airflow on maximum speed stays modest compared with a turbo model, and the plastic housing clearly shows its budget price point. For a light, cheap top-up fan, it's hard to do better.
