Set up on a covered patio, the TurboCool 711AS first impresses with its size: taller and bulkier than a classic portable misting fan, it cools a far wider area than a handheld or table model. The 10 m/s airflow is clearly noticeable several metres away, and the ultra-fine mist doesn't leave a wet feeling even up close, unlike some more aggressive patio misting kits. Noise stays genuinely contained on low speeds, a real plus for an outdoor dinner without having to raise your voice. The 150° oscillation effectively covers a table for several guests. Weather resistance held up fine during a passing shower, though sheltered storage remains advisable over time. The price, noticeably higher than a portable misting fan, is justified by the size, power and indoor/outdoor versatility.
