I set it up in the living room during a week-long heatwave, running it from morning to night without ever having to refill the 12-litre tank, a real comfort compared with small desktop units that need topping up daily. The heating function, an electric add-on rather than a true heat pump, surprised me with how useful it was during the shoulder season for drying out the air after a rain shower. The touchscreen and remote make settings easy, and the built-in ioniser gives a fresher feel to the air, hard to quantify but pleasant. Two things won me over less: on top speed, the noise gets genuinely tiring over time, I consistently switched back to speed 2 in the evening. And I noticed a gap between the airflow advertised on the packaging (600 m3/h) and the figure given in the manufacturer's own datasheet (500 m3/h), without finding a clear explanation. Like any evaporative cooler, the cooling effect stays noticeable in dry air but fades quickly once humidity rises.
